The IBM
Systems Journal, Vol. 38, No. 2 &
3, 1999 - Turning Points in Computing: 1962-1999, was a special
issue listing 15 papers published between 1962-1999 that the
editors viewed as making a significant difference to Software
Engineering.
We are pleased to note that one of the papers is by two principals in STT. This paper defines the model and assessment method used in IBM and defined by the authors. This model and method were the feeds and precursors to the SEI's CMM and CBA IPI.
